Maths Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Cover Tutor to join our team in the Offender Learning Sector in the Wetherby area. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact on the lives of learners, helping them improve not only their own lives but also those of their families and their local community.

• Develop and deliver high-quality, learner-focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards.
• Work on-site to provide education that is in line with policies and procedures.
• Support both learners and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for all involved in the sector.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.

• Minimum Level 5 Teaching Qualification.
• At least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
• Proven track record of effective teaching in Maths.
• Ability to gain, hold, and maintain a clean, Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
