Job Advert Role Description

The Role:
As a Lead Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role within our healthcare team, collaborating closely with Registered Nurses to evaluate, strategize, and execute patient care. Your duties will encompass:

- Providing care in accordance with personalized care plans.
- Actively engaging and interacting with patients, assisting them in their daily activities both on-site and within the community.
- Employing well-honed observational and listening abilities to assess the mental, emotional, and physical health of patients.
- Communicating with staff, family members, and visitors, including external professionals, both in person and via telephone.
- Upholding strict confidentiality.

Requirements:

- Minimum NVQ Level 1 or GCSEs in Mathematics and English.
- Completion of the Care Certificate.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a comparable setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills for regular communication and information sharing.
- Basic IT proficiency.
- Awareness of the necessity for strict confidentiality.
