Surface Preparation and Coating Application:

Your responsibilities will include applying various coatings to sheet metal components, ensuring optimal adhesion and finish quality.


Quality Assurance:

You will conduct thorough inspections of the finished products to verify compliance with specified quality standards regarding color, texture, and thickness.


Record Keeping:
It is crucial to maintain accurate documentation of all coating tasks, detailing materials utilized and any challenges encountered.
Regular upkeep and cleaning of application equipment are necessary to ensure it remains in peak working condition.

Continuous Development:
Staying informed about industry advancements and innovative coating techniques is essential.

We seek a proficient Aerospace Coatings Specialist, someone who merges practical skills with technical expertise to make a significant contribution in the aerospace manufacturing domain.

This role is ideal for a candidate who not only possesses painting proficiency but also brings relevant experience, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative spirit that aligns with our client's commitment to high-quality outcomes.



Specialized Coating Knowledge:

A minimum of two years' experience in aerospace coatings, demonstrating a successful track record within this specialization or a related field that requires precision.


Productivity and Quality Orientation:
A proven ability to meet production targets while delivering exceptional quality on complex aerospace components.

Familiarity with various coating systems, adherence to safety protocols, and the capacity to quickly learn and implement new coating techniques and processes.

Knowledge of efficient manufacturing practices, such as 5S, to enhance productivity and maintain organization in the workplace.

Technical Acumen:

The ability to interpret and act on intricate technical instructions and specifications, essential for applying treatments that meet the stringent standards of the aerospace industry.

Strong organizational skills and effective time management are vital for meeting the fast-paced demands of production schedules.

Communication Skills:
Excellent communication abilities are crucial for effective collaboration with teams and accurately documenting detailed coating processes.
Competitive starting salary of £29,752.05 plus shift premium.
The role follows a 2-shift pattern during training (Mornings and Afternoons) and includes a 12.5% shift premium, elevating your salary to £33,471.
Upon completion of training, you will transition to a 3-shift pattern, increasing your salary to £34,809 (including a 17% shift premium).
Overtime opportunities are available and compensated at time and a half.
