Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the strategic plan for the Events portfolio, aiding the Community, Events, and Products team in achieving its ambitious goal of generating £15 million.
  • Establish and nurture strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Design, implement, and advance the Events Team strategy, emphasizing audience insights, portfolio management, marketing, and donor stewardship.
  • Spot and capitalize on opportunities for revenue enhancement.
  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of fundraisers.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience with a history of meeting income objectives.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving targets through acquisition campaigns and donor engagement journeys.
  • Experience in line management.
  • Proven ability to advocate for a team at an organizational level.
  • Exceptional skills in negotiation and influence.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Experience in effectively managing agencies and suppliers.
  • Familiarity with managing mass participation or Community and Events initiatives is a plus.

Compensation: Starting salary of £51,235 per annum (including regional weighting).

Contract Type: Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract (35 hours per week).

Work Arrangement: Hybrid working model with a combination of in-office and remote work.
