Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to collaborate with our global and top-tier investment bank, based in Canary Wharf, until the end of March 2025.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end completion of client Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), working closely with Sales, Product, Client Delivery, Countries, and other regional proposal teams. RFPs and RFIs are Question & Answer format, free format, and PowerPoint Presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop customized proposals for unsolicited bids in collaboration with Sales.
  • Work with multiple countries and product managers to create proposal templates for markets, clusters, or regions for Sales Managers.
  • Understand customer needs and product capabilities, partnering with Sales to develop appropriate cash management and commercial cards solutions.
  • Develop and maintain the Sales and Proposal team's knowledge database content of product and corporate information to increase efficiency of proposal writing.
  • Stay up-to-date with customer needs and market trends through continuous training and partnership with Sales and Product Management.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with RFP writing in banking/financial services.
  • Experience in a bank's transaction services business Front Office environment.
  • Experience of the corporate banking sales & cash management and/or commercial cards products.
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Exposure to sales process within corporate banking environment.
  • Good MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
  • Experience of Qvidian software would be beneficial.
  • Ability to learn other relevant software packages.
