Instrument Engineer Job Description

Our client at Saltend is seeking a skilled Instrument Engineer to provide specialist PSC services for Instrument Engineering. The successful candidate will support the site's engineering and maintenance teams, contributing to the delivery of asset management compliance improvements and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and maintain asset accuracy in CMMS systems
  2. Implement and sustain maintenance systems and compliance processes
  3. Provide hands-on technical support for maintenance issues
  4. Support safety reviews and ensure SHEQ compliance
  5. Manage hazardous area inspection systems and action close-outs
Required Competencies:
  1. HNC in Electrical/Instrument discipline or equivalent
  2. History of providing services in Top-Tier COMAH plants
  3. In-depth knowledge of instrument systems (level, temp, pressure, control)
  4. Proven track record in SHEQ contributions and managing minor projects
  5. Strong competency in CMMS maintenance, functional safety, and contract management
