Job Type: Contract

Duration: 8 months

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Specialist to join our team on an 8-month contract to support an offshore-focused project. As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to work on a hybrid working setup, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce documentation such as General Arrangement drawings, Electrical Detail Drawings, and Loop drawings.
  • Specify and order instrumentation, cables, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
  • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written. Proficiency in Norwegian is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations (VEM/V&M).
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation used in the oil industry.
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
  • Offshore certification is an advantage.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ideally a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware.
  • Technical College degree is acceptable with extensive experience in Brownfield modification projects.
