Job Purpose:

To deliver high-quality technical drawings and documentation in support of engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce complex drawings using CAD systems, including AutoCAD, to support engineering projects in critical environments.
  • Represent EMCOR UK as the primary point of contact for stakeholders related to drawing office and document requests.
  • Operate under limited supervision to produce drawings in support of engineering projects, ensuring quality and integrity.
  • Custodian of customer UK technical libraries, implementing a life-cycle management process for equipment files and associated data.
  • Interface with EMCOR and customer staff to produce complete engineering drawing layout packages, ensuring quality and integrity.
  • Provide regular progress reports and escalate issues as required to the Workplace Manager.
  • Carry out on-site surveys of plant, equipment, and buildings to prepare high-quality drawings upon request.
  • Update existing records and create new drawings from engineers' sketches and specifications to accurately represent modifications.
  • Utilize latest AutoCAD 3D tools to produce complex drawings.
  • Maintain documentation library of paper and electronic documents, including O&M manuals, change control documents, project turnover records, and validation/qualification records.
  • Ensure continued compliance with EMCOR UK and customer corporate, regulatory, and statutory authority requirements.
  • Develop controls to ensure subcontractor performance meets required quality standards.
  • Promptly document all work to confirm authenticity, accuracy, compliance, and traceability, following Good Documentation Practices.
  • Review status of manuals and liaise with key engineering teams to define current accuracy and prepare reports as necessary.

Essentials:
  • Work safely, highlighting any HSE issues and reporting SORs (Safety Observation Reports).
  • Carry out all reasonable tasks requested by the Client, Management, or EMCOR Group (UK).
  • Uphold and promote the good name of EMCOR UK.
  • Follow EMCOR's Code of Conduct and comply with the Client's company rules and maintain a high standard of discipline.
