About the Role
The Deputy Director of Strategic Asset Management will be responsible for driving the performance and viability of Paradigm's property portfolio throughout its lifecycle. This senior role will set and maintain standards from new build handover to complex acquisition/disposal appraisals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a department of circa 25, with three department heads, to deliver appraisal and investment, decarbonisation, and complex operational tasks such as building defects, non-freehold management, and statutory notifications.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize asset performance, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and achieve corporate objectives.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management and the Board on asset management and related matters.
- Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, non-executive Board members, and strategic partners.
Requirements
- Proven experience in asset management, with a strong understanding of the property spectrum.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executives, non-executive Board members, and strategic partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
