Job Title: Deputy Director Estates

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director Estates to join our team at Wycombe Abbey. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and deputising for the Estates Manager in the day-to-day running of the Estates Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Facilities team to provide a safe and secure environment in the School.
  • Support and deputise for the Estates Manager in the day-to-day running of the Estates Department.
  • Develop and implement effective facilities management and repair strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge of facilities management and repair.
  • Excellent understanding of all legislation relating to estates, facilities, and building maintenance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to promote positive and healthy working relationships.
  • Experience of finance and operations management is desirable.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
  • Full-time, permanent contract.
  • 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 52 weeks per year.
  • Accommodation provided for the better performance of duties.
