Job Summary

This is a full-time position within the Integrated Discharge Team, responsible for managing the team's business support function, including developing and managing the team's business plan, progress and reporting risk and issue management.

The successful candidate will participate in relevant internal and external working groups/projects, services, and initiatives to provide information and analytical advice and expertise.

Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining a training programme for all staff groups and banding, both face-to-face and online, as well as developing and implementing data collection systems to provide accurate and timely data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Health Side Workforce, rotas, and level of cover to meet the needs of the service.
  • Develop and implement a content management system to ensure information is properly managed and best practice is shared across the team, Directorate, and the wider NHS organisation.
  • Take a lead in the coordination of training & development and recruitment activity across the Team.
  • Lead on training and development for all Bandings and Staff Groups across the Trust.

  • Expert knowledge of discharge and related contemporary issues.
  • Knowledge and understanding of health care needs in a multicultural society.
