We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Physiotherapist to join our Elderly care therapy team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will be part of a well-established, integrated team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who provide comprehensive and specialist therapy assessments to a diverse cohort of patients across our care of elderly wards, including our delirium recovery pathway.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients, including assessment and treatment in the care of the elderly population.
- Support more junior staff and share clinical expertise.
- Contribute to the development of specialist skills through training opportunities.
- Participate in HR tasks related to the team as part of non-clinical duties.
- Work on a seven-day working rota, with compensatory rest days and on-call service.
- Extensive experience in the care of the elderly population.
- Sound knowledge of assessment and treatment in this cohort.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
We can offer training opportunities to develop your specialist skills in line with your PDR. We have senior leadership training opportunities on a regular basis as well as courses funded externally.
