Job Title: Food Service Team Leader Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Food Service Team Leader to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges. As a Food Service Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service assistants and general assistants to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our students. Key Responsibilities: * Lead a team of food service assistants and general assistants to ensure the smooth operation of food service activities * Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner according to established menus and recipes * Maintain cleanliness of the front-of-house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils * Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies * Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs * Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards Requirements: * Experience working in education catering or a similar environment * Good health and safety knowledge * Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer-focused, fun, and enthusiastic * Excellent organization skills and attention to detail * Ability to lead team members and work collaboratively as part of a team * Great customer service skills and a flexible approach to work About Us: Holroyd Howe is committed to providing exceptional food services to our clients, and we are looking for a talented and experienced Food Service Team Leader to join our team.
