Job Title: Food Service Team Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Team Leader to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges. As a Food Service Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
* Maintain cleanliness of the front-of-house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils.
* Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
* Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
* Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.

Requirements:

* Ideally have experience working within education catering.
* Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
* Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer-focused.
* Fun and enthusiastic.
* Have excellent organization skills.
* Demonstrate great attention to detail.
* Be a team player, have experience of leading team members, and enjoy succeeding as a team.
* Possess great customer service skills.
* Have a flexible approach to work.
