About the Role

The Stephen James Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Lawyer to join our team in the sports industry. As a key member of our regulatory team, you will work closely with sports regulators and teams to provide expert advice and support on a range of high-profile matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Legal and Director on high-profile matters, including investigations, arbitration, and financial regulation.
  • Assist with the investigation of breaches and the process of determining and sanctioning those breaches.
  • Manage disputes, often by way of arbitration, and advise the wider business on all elements of financial rules.
  • Ensure compliance with changes of control, new investment, and the appointment of new Directors.
  • Work on domestic and international sports regulation.

Requirements

  • E&W Qualified (4-7PQE)
  • Trained at a recognized City Law firm
  • Self-starter attitude, excellent presentation, and communication techniques
  • Experience in white collar crime investigations, general litigation, or arbitration
  • Competition or banking experience is a bonus
