Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Advisor. As the first point of contact for incoming calls, you will provide exceptional service and support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, using our CRM system and communication skills to resolve issues.
- Process customer requests and provide accurate information, working collaboratively with other support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Deal with customer complaints and concerns, using active listening skills and empathy to resolve issues and maintain a positive customer experience.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure information is passed on and updated, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Assist with the College's Emergency Evacuation Procedure and initial contact with emergency services, demonstrating a commitment to customer safety and well-being.
- Process petty cash, count floats, and support the cash officer with daily banking, maintaining accurate records and adhering to financial procedures.
- Issue staff and student ID badges, ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery.
- Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths qualifications, demonstrating a strong foundation in communication and numeracy skills.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience working in a reception environment or busy office where customer service is key, with a proven track record of delivering high standards of service.
- Understanding of the importance of delivering high standards of customer service, with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills, including written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Strong administration skills and ability to work proactively, focused, and well-organized, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to changing situations, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Availability to attend college events, including open evenings outside of normal working hours, demonstrating a commitment to the College's values and community.
