Black Country Women's Aid is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research and Engagement Officer to join our Centre for the Analysis of Exploitation (CeAnEx).

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting innovative research to identify and support women who are sexually exploited in the West Midlands. They will work closely with our Community Engagement Project, which combines open-source intelligence and traditional academic research methods to identify victims of organised crime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research to identify and support women who are sexually exploited in the West Midlands
  • Work closely with our Community Engagement Project to develop new perspectives on human trafficking and sexual exploitation
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and partner agencies to develop effective strategies to support victims
  • Contribute to the development of new research methods and tools to identify and support victims of exploitation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in conducting research on human trafficking and sexual exploitation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
