About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Caretaker to join our Facilities Management Team at Derby College Group. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our Broomfield Hall Campus in Morley, Derbyshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of tasks, including room set-ups, building unlocks, and light maintenance
  • Keep areas clean and presentable, including routine checks and painting
  • Work a two-shift pattern on a weekly rotation, with the first shift being 5.30am to 1.30pm, and the second shift being 1.30pm to 9.30pm
  • Provide excellent customer service to a diverse range of people

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a facilities role, but not essential. You will be encouraged to be creative, flexible, and resourceful in your approach to the tasks at hand. A full clean driving licence is required as you will be required to drive College vehicles around and between sites.
