What You Can Expect

The Clinical Sales Specialist (CSS) plays a crucial role in the effective management of a successful sales territory. This position involves collaborating with Sales Representatives, Key Account Managers, and Sales Managers to support hospitals and provide technical assistance to all stakeholders within our client network.

Moreover, the CSS will conduct tailored training sessions to ensure that Surgeons and Scrub Staff are proficient in the safe and efficient use of Zimmer Biomet products, attending surgical procedures as needed to offer real-time assistance.

How You'll Create Impact
  • Guarantee that instruments and implants are readily available to align with customer surgical schedules.
  • Organize and facilitate training for all hospital personnel (e.g., surgeons, scrub staff, healthcare assistants, Sterile Services Staff) to ensure the safe and effective utilization of Zimmer Biomet instruments and implants.
  • Act as an onsite resource within customer facilities, allowing Sales Representatives to focus on developing new business opportunities either in different areas or within the same account.
  • Ensure efficient rotation of consignment stock with minimal quarterly audits and daily reorder checks.
  • Maintain instrument sets in optimal and safe working condition.
  • Remove any damaged instruments and arrange for replacements following standard operating procedures.
  • Report any incidents within 48 hours of becoming aware of them.
  • Provide each account with training materials and an accurate inventory list.
  • Be prepared to work outside of standard hours when necessary.
  • Ensure that returns and in-field movements are conducted in accordance with standard operating procedures.
What Makes You Stand Out
  • Educational qualifications at A-Level or equivalent in science-related fields.
  • Nursing or Healthcare Certification.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinical setting, preferably within orthopedic surgery.

  • Ability to adapt to various working practices as required by surgeons and healthcare facilities while adhering to Zimmer Biomet protocols.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the divisional product range.
  • Skilled in training others effectively.
  • Understanding of technical medical terminology and anatomy to communicate with surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Demonstrated organizational abilities and effective time management skills.
  • Confident and engaging presentation capabilities.
  • Aptitude for resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
