We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Eggtooth. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our finances.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring accurate financial records are maintained, and all transactions are processed.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, including management accounts, cashflow, and other financial reports, with analysis and commentary to inform decision-making.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and systems to ensure compliance and diligent resource management.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial information to support funding applications, tenders, and grant administration.
  • Financial Systems: Manage and maintain financial systems, including accounting software and online banking.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in a hands-on finance manager role, with a strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Skills: Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office (particularly Excel), with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Education: Part or fully qualified accountant/bookkeeper within ACA/ACCA, AAT, or QBE, or demonstrable equivalent experience.

  • Competitive Salary: £35,000 FTE (FT hours a week)
