We are seeking a Night Porter to join our team at Philema Hospitality Management Enterprise. As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk and guest services during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and are treated to the highest level of hospitality and care.
- Complaint Resolution: Minimize and handle complaints professionally, in accordance with hotel policy.
- Hotel Policies: Follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual.
- Front Desk Operations: Answer telephones, check in and check out hotel guests, and deal with guest queries.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean public areas and ensure the safety and security of the building and guests throughout the night.
- Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and drink to the highest standard to our guests when required.
- Support Functions: Support the Food and Beverage department in aspects of their roles and support the Reception by preparing aspects of departure during the night.
- Financial Transactions: Maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from customers in accordance with company policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
- Communication: Ensure good working relationships with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
- Health and Safety: Understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.
