Sam's Kitchen is a high-end restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and occasional supper clubs, burger pop-ups, and special dinner events in the evening. Our first site opened in Hammersmith in June 2023 and quickly became a popular destination in the area.

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team at Sam's Kitchen in Hammersmith. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu ideas and recipes
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-end restaurant kitchen
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, daytimes, and weekends
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
