Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Operations Coordinator to enhance our maintenance department's efficiency.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in organizing and managing maintenance activities, ensuring optimal performance of our assets.

Your responsibilities will include planning maintenance schedules, collaborating with various teams, and driving initiatives to enhance asset reliability.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate maintenance shutdowns and outages, implementing best engineering practices.

2. Develop and oversee the engineering shift plan, including holiday and call-out rotations.

3. Facilitate weekly scheduling meetings for planned activities and work with the maintenance team to update maintenance schedules.

4. Manage and prioritize the maintenance work backlog, ensuring thorough documentation and tracking of all activities.

5. Play a pivotal role in maintaining and updating the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

6. Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Leads to create a comprehensive work schedule for shift engineers.

7. Coordinate with production teams to ensure routine maintenance is planned and executed effectively.

8. Oversee the repair process for equipment removed from the plant, ensuring proper work orders and cost tracking.

9. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all maintenance activities.


10. Act as the site contact for contractors, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and meet engineering standards.

11. Ensure that all Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for planned work are current and adhered to.

12. Create and review contract orders, overseeing planned preventative maintenance across all sites.

13. Provide support for capital expenditure (CapEx) projects and related activities as required.

14. Collaborate with the learning and development team to maintain and review the training schedule for the maintenance team.

15. Conduct stock reviews with the maintenance team and provide necessary support.

16. Visit various sites as required to assist with planning and coordination.

Key Skills and Competencies:
1. Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices.

2. Meticulous and logical approach to problem-solving and planning.

3. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

4. Ability to anticipate issues and develop effective solutions.

5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

7. Experience in team management and leadership is advantageous.

8. Previous experience in a similar maintenance planning role is desirable.
