About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our team as a Team Manager. As a key member of our Children's Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of approximately 120 children and working closely with other professionals to ensure their safety and well-being.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Social Worker in a Children's Social Work team and will be registered with the HCPC. You will also need to hold a current DBS and be a car driver.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of approximately 120 children, providing support and guidance to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Work closely with other professionals, including police, health, and education services, to ensure effective multi-agency working.
- Develop and implement individual care plans, taking into account the needs and circumstances of each child.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure the child's needs are being met and make recommendations for future support.
- Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and best practice.
