About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior User Researcher to join our User Research team at EMIS. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our healthcare technology products.

As a Senior User Researcher, you will be responsible for leading and designing research studies throughout the product lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our users are at the centre of all transformational activities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and conducting research studies to inform product development
  • Collaborating with product designers to embed research findings into agile teams and processes
  • Aligning user research sessions and activities with product objectives and priorities
  • Actively engaging stakeholders in user research activities

We are looking for a collaborative and experienced User Researcher who can demonstrate a passion for leading, designing and running a broad range of research methodologies. You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including thematic analysis, and be able to present complex research findings to influence stakeholders.

Technical skills we are looking for include:

  • Experience with a range of research methodologies, including generative research and usability testing
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including thematic analysis
  • Confident presenter with the ability to influence stakeholders
