Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Payments Analyst to join our team at Quantum Group. As a key member of our payments operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our payment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for payment system changes, ensuring alignment with business requirements and processes.
  • Scope and document business requirements and processes to maintain a comprehensive change roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Provide technical expertise in multiple payment areas, including payment systems principles and practices, agency bank operations, and Swift ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 formats.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in a payments operations role.
  • Strong understanding of banking instruments, procedures, and dealing practices.
  • Knowledge of various payment services, including SWIFT, BACS, FPs, and Electronic Clearing.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide insightful reports and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
