Payments and Innovation Analyst

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and analytical Payments and Innovation Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of payments and digital innovation within the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support to key working groups and committees, including drafting papers and liaising with senior-level members.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the digital money and payments ecosystem to effectively contribute to policy and advocacy work.
  • Coordinate regulatory activities for the team, maintaining records of upcoming meetings, briefing requirements, and collaborating with team members to gather inputs.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and groups working on cross-cutting projects and initiatives related to payments, innovation, and digital finance.
  • Provide valuable market and regulatory insights, conduct horizon scanning and monitoring activities to inform strategic business planning.
  • Prepare consultation responses, committee and board papers, and effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Some knowledge of the payments market and its operational dynamics.
  • Familiarity with digital and innovation topics, including new digital currencies such as stablecoins and cryptoassets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong written communication skills, demonstrated experience in drafting clear, concise, and accurate documents.
