About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Second-Line Support and Technology Applications Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing second-line support for our technology applications and processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Support & Administration: Provide second-line support for our technology applications and processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Implementation & Upgrades: Collaborate with the Technology Solutions Manager to implement new applications, upgrade existing systems, and manage significant changes.
  • Development & Testing: Assist in developing and testing new applications, ensuring they meet our high standards and work seamlessly with existing systems.
  • Operational Handover: Support the transition of new applications to the service desk team, ensuring they are fully prepared for operational support.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Process & procedure implementation, management of knowledge base, user accounts, incidents, and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Orientation: A customer-service-oriented individual with a keen interest in technology and a knack for improving business processes.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience working in an IT team or as a business partner, with strong problem-solving skills for system or process challenges.
  • Methodical Approach: A methodical and structured approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Be adaptable and able to balance competing priorities with a collaborative mindset eager to learn and share knowledge.
  • Independence: Be able to work independently and resolve issues beyond the service desk's scope.

Desirable Experience:

  • CRM Systems: Experience with CRM systems, process documentation management.
  • Payroll Systems: Process mapping experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with HTML and API.
