Position Title: Centre Operations Supervisor

Overview:
The Centre Operations Supervisor is essential in supporting a well-established charitable organization. This role offers a competitive annual salary of £30,000, with a commitment of 35 hours per week.

The centre operates year-round, and while the typical working hours are from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, the position requires availability during weekends, public holidays, and flexibility to work beyond standard hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual eager to assist visitors from diverse backgrounds.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a hospitable atmosphere for all visitors.
  • Act as a registered key holder and be available for emergency situations.
  • Oversee the services offered at the centre.
  • Conduct cash float checks at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Participate in welfare meetings.
  • Source and procure necessary supplies.
  • Manage the organization’s vehicle and coordinate transportation schedules.
  • Supervise both volunteers and paid staff.
  • Engage in and manage centre events, fostering connections with the local community.

Compensation and Benefits:
Annual salary of £30,000
20 days of annual leave
Pension plan

Required Qualifications:
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Experience in supervising or managing a team.
Desirable experience in financial handling.
Exceptional time management abilities.
Capability to manage a dynamic workload, maintain composure under pressure, and take initiative in task management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
