Hydraulic Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out engineering work at our service centre, on-site, and at customer premises, as requested by line management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure all work designated is completed to specification, in accordance with the Company's procedures and quality standards.
* Examine, repair, or service hydraulic equipment, systems, or components, and properly test them in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
* Complete installations of rigid or flexible pipework in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations.
* Ensure timely completion of stock requisitions for all components removed from stock.
* Perform off-site commissioning, service, and repair work.
* Maintain the safe-keeping, regular maintenance, and professional appearance of Company vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Requirements:

* Ideally, a hydraulics background, however, a strong mechanical background within marine/plant/agriculture machinery maintenance is also considered.
* BFPA level 1 & 2 certificate in mobile / industrial hydraulics or a recognised time served apprenticeship or proven experience.
* A basic understanding of electrics/electronics would be of benefit, but not essential.
* Full clean driving licence.

Remuneration:

* Salary £28,000 - £36,000 DOE.
* Health insurance.
* Hours Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00 - 16:00.
* Overtime available. Paid at 1.5x. Sunday 2x.
* Generous Holiday package.
* Pension.
