£29,960 per annum, increasing to £33,671 after probation, plus a company vehicle or £4,000 vehicle allowance annually

Role Overview

Our reputable client, a provider of housing solutions, is looking for a proficient Maintenance and Repair Specialist to join their team.

In this role, you will report to the Team Leader - Maintenance and Repairs, and will be tasked with both reactive and scheduled maintenance across various properties.

This position involves working remotely and traveling daily to different locations where service users reside.


Key Responsibilities

General Maintenance:
Perform a variety of tasks including plumbing, carpentry, plastering, painting, decorating, and groundwork in both occupied and vacant properties.

Plumbing:
Carry out plumbing repairs and minor installations as required.

Carpentry:
Execute repairs and installations on windows, doors, UPVC components, and internal doors. Handle joinery tasks such as fitting architraves, skirting, kitchen units, and repairing double-glazed units.

Plastering:
Conduct patch plastering as necessary.

Painting & Decorating:
Prepare surfaces, remove old finishes, repair walls and woodwork, and apply new decorative products.

Groundwork:
Undertake repairs and renewals in fencing, clearance, and related areas.

Collaboration:
Work closely with team members and management, attend meetings, provide training, and offer support as required.

Skills and Attributes

Maintain up-to-date communications and accurate records as per company policies.

Monitor your work progress, engage in training programs, and pursue professional development as outlined in your Personal Development Plan.
