Our committed team is in search of a Facilities Maintenance Technician to assist with our operations.

As a vital member of the site team, you will aid in the execution and completion of various building tasks, ranging from low-risk planned preventative maintenance to proactive upkeep across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the highest standards and competencies are consistently met and demonstrated.
  • Provide support across a diverse array of activities spanning multiple disciplines.
  • Maintain open communication with the Client, Customer, and Team through regular feedback and updates.
  • Contribute to delivering a quality service, striving for complete Customer satisfaction.
  • Offer technical assistance, advice, and guidance to both the Customer and Team.
  • Ensure optimal value for the Client by verifying that resources and materials are appropriate for effective service delivery.
  • Report performance metrics to your supervisor.
  • Guarantee the safe execution of all maintenance tasks, including those performed by our service partners.
  • Compile details of time and materials needed for minor projects for quoting purposes.
  • Collaborate with Account Support, Supervisors, Managers, and Sub-Contractors to achieve the highest standards within service level agreements.
  • Build and nurture relationships with the Client, Customer, and fellow Atlas colleagues.
  • Ensure the Maximo system is regularly updated via your assigned tablet, accounting for all time on the generated timesheet.
  • Take ownership of the sites, delivering exceptional service to the customer.
  • Be available for on-call responsibilities outside of regular hours when scheduled.
Candidate Profile Minimum Qualifications and Training Required
  • Qualified in relevant trades (e.g., Carpentry, Plastering, Decorating or equivalent) (Desirable)
  • Completed a full apprenticeship in the specified trades (Desirable)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar environment, particularly in multi-site and multi-discipline service delivery.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing outsourcing environment.
  • Background in facilities or property maintenance.
  • Proficient in modern office software and experience with asset/work management systems such as MAXIMO / CAFM on Android tablets.
  • Strong, demonstrable skills in building services trades.
