Our committed team is in search of a Facilities Maintenance Technician to assist in our operations.

As a vital member of the site team, you will aid in the execution and completion of various building tasks, ranging from low-risk planned preventive maintenance to proactive upkeep across the facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the highest standards and competencies are consistently achieved and displayed.
  • Assist with a diverse array of tasks across multiple disciplines.
  • Keep the Client, Customer, and Team informed through regular feedback and updates.
  • Contribute to delivering a quality service, striving for complete Customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical assistance, advice, and support to the Customer and Team.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness for the Client by verifying that resources and materials are appropriate for effective service delivery.
  • Report performance metrics to your supervisor.
  • Guarantee the safe execution of all works, including those performed by our service partners.
  • Prepare details of time and materials needed for minor projects for quoting purposes.
  • Collaborate with Account Support, Supervisors, Managers, and Sub-Contractors to ensure work is completed to the highest standard within service level agreements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Client, Customer, and fellow Atlas colleagues.
  • Ensure the Maximo system is regularly updated via your assigned tablet, accounting for all time on the generated timesheet.
  • Take ownership of the sites, delivering exceptional service to the customer.
  • Fulfill all on-call responsibilities during scheduled hours.
Candidate Profile Minimum Qualifications and Training Required
  • Qualified in relevant trades (Carpentry, Plastering, Decorating, or equivalent) (Desirable)
  • Completed a full apprenticeship in the relevant trades (Desirable)
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience for this Role
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in a similar environment, particularly in multi-site and multi-discipline service delivery.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing outsourcing environment.
  • Background in facilities maintenance or property maintenance.
  • Proficient understanding of modern office software and experience with asset/work management systems such as MAXIMO / CAFM systems on Android tablets.
  • Strong, demonstrable skills in building services trades.
