Automotive Risk Assessor – Competitive Salary

Location – London

This position is ideal for a professional with a background in evaluating Commercial Automotive insurance and a keen interest in fostering connections with brokers and clients.

The role is suited for an individual with strong analytical capabilities, comfortable analyzing data to uncover patterns using tools such as spreadsheets.

Overview of the Role:

The successful candidate will join the GCS Automotive team, which operates across various locations, and will be tasked with assessing new and renewal business, contributing to the overall financial objectives of GCS. Responsibilities will encompass risk evaluation and selection, pricing strategies, and determining coverage and terms.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with other departments within Aviva, including Claims, Client Relationship Management, Distribution, and Risk Management, to create tailored solutions for GCS clients, typically UK-based with an annual revenue exceeding £250,000,000.

Aviva promotes a flexible working environment, and this role will be based at our London offices.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in assessing Motor Fleet risks. Strong analytical skills to aid in decision-making and problem resolution. Ability to cultivate and sustain professional relationships. Excellent negotiation skills. Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory framework governing Commercial Insurance.

Additional Skills and Experience:

A solid background in underwriting Motor Fleet coverage for either SME or Corporate clients. Experience in broker interactions. Highly organized with a keen attention to detail. Exceptional communication abilities. Self-motivated and proactive.
