Pioneering People: Stock Control Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Stock Control Assistant to join our dynamic team at Pioneering People. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth management of our inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to manage the entire production process, from works order creation to completion, including stock adjustments and perpetual inventory checks.
  • Update sales orders to reflect actual stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and investigate any issues.
  • Process documents for stock authorization and scrap disposal.
  • Manage commercial aspects of stock control, including updating stock levels and invoicing customers.
  • Produce monthly usage reports for our finance team.
  • Oversee stock stored in our reject and out-of-date warehouses.
  • Respond to client requests for stock checks and queries.
  • Verify sales prices and supplements on invoices, adding them as required.
  • Issue sales invoices once goods have been dispatched and pass them to our sales ledger team.
  • Assist in the dispatch of vehicles, including preparing Dangerous Goods documents and International Consignment notes.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to analyze data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a stock control or inventory management role.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a small team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
