Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with ComAP Control Systems expertise to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing building infrastructure systems, including power distribution, earthing integration, BMS & BEMS control systems, cable containment, fire & security systems, cable sizing, and control interfaces with other 3rd party systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for building infrastructure, including power distribution, earthing integration, and control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with current legislative requirements.
  • Utilize CAD packages, including AutoCAD, Eplan Amtech, and BIM software, to evaluate and interpret customer requirements.
  • Design package plantrooms, cable containment, power, control, lighting, motor starting systems, actuating valves, and power distribution boards.
  • Ensure the commercial aspects of containerized power generation and CHP equipment are understood.

Requirements:

  • Experience in designing building infrastructure systems, including ComAP Control Systems.
  • Knowledge of CAD packages, including AutoCAD, Eplan Amtech, and BIM software.
  • Understanding of commercial aspects of containerized power generation and CHP equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
