About the Role:

  • As a Stock Control Assistant, you will be responsible for using our ERP system to manage stock levels, process sales orders, and perform stock adjustments.
  • You will also be responsible for reconciling stock checks, investigating discrepancies, and managing commercial aspects of stock control.
  • Additionally, you will assist in the despatch of vehicles, including preparing documents and raising despatch/picking lists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock levels, including updating sales orders and performing stock adjustments.
  • Reconcile stock checks and investigate discrepancies.
  • Manage commercial aspects of stock control, including updating stock that has been underwritten and invoiced to customers.
  • Assist in the despatch of vehicles, including preparing documents and raising despatch/picking lists.
  • Produce monthly usage reports for the finance manager.
  • Manage stock contained within the reject and out of date warehouses.
  • Action requests from clients for stock checks and queries.
  • Check selling prices/supplements on sales invoices held on Sage and add to invoices as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Excel working knowledge and ability to use Excel.
  • Ability to understand data and draw conclusions from it.
  • Ability to interrogate data.
  • Good understanding of warehouse principles.
  • Previous knowledge of inventory packages.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a small team.
  • Effective communication skills, able to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
