About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Design Manager. This role will play a key part in supporting the design process through the provision of specialist project and commercial management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal and external commercial management
  • Supply chain and procurement management
  • Planning and programming of design projects
  • Deliverable definition and progress monitoring/reporting
  • Resource management
  • Quality assurance support

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the building design process and a keen interest in project management and commercial issues. They will be able to work well within the dynamics of design and client teams, and have excellent communication and people skills.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who is proactive, motivated, and ambitious, with a desire to develop a career within BDP. They will have a good knowledge of project management software, such as Microsoft Project, and an awareness of project planning techniques. They will also have solid organisational skills, with the ability to juggle projects with differing deadlines.
