Consultant Radiologist with Expertise in GI Radiology

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Radiologist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a subspecialty interest in GI radiology and will be responsible for contributing to the high-quality Consultant-led diagnostic imaging service at Barts and The Royal London Hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Reporting of cross-sectional images performed on the new MRI and CT scanners at the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC)
- Contributing to the specialist MDTs on a rota with subspecialist colleagues
- Supporting the need for an ILS-trained radiologist at the CDC covering contrast administration in case of a contrast reaction
- Joining the general on-call service 1 in 20 from home with SPR cover on site
- Maintaining and promoting team and multi-disciplinary work
- Participating fully in the management of the Departments and liaising closely with the respective clinical and academic group director and Divisional Manager

Requirements- MB BS or equivalent
- FRCR or equivalent
- CCT (or within 6 months of date of interview) or on specialist register ILS training to be provided locally
- MRCP/MRCS
- Extensive experience in Cross-sectional Imaging/trauma
- Experience of general GI/HPB imaging
