Consultant GI Radiologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Radiologist to join our team at a hospital in the South-East of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Duties:
  • Interpret and report on various imaging modalities, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Teaching and Training:
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors, radiographers, and trainees.
  • Contribute to the training and development of medical students and residents.
  • Research and Audit:
  • Engage in clinical research, quality improvement projects, and audit activities.
  • Stay updated with advancements in radiology and contribute to evidence-based practice.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Attend departmental meetings and participate in service planning.

Requirements:

  • Full Specialist Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Fellowship or equivalent qualification in Radiology.
