About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Coordinator to join our customer care team as an Assistant Aftercare Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading volume housebuilder and contribute to the development of their customer care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the resolution of defects at the time of handover and at the end of the defects period, working closely with inspection teams.
  • Oversee the Developer Aftercare teams to ensure defects are fixed within the agreed period.
  • Reassign defects that are not resolved within the expected timeframe.
  • Monitor ongoing repair work to ensure it meets contract standards.
  • Arrange visits to customers' homes to review any defects, poor workmanship, or concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with our teams to find solutions to any problems experienced by customers.
  • Keep a close eye on the performance of sub-contractors and address any recurring issues.
  • Manage the final inspection process at the end of the defect liability period.
  • Report on aftercare issues to the Aftercare Lead, including the performance of developers, inspectors, and sub-contractors.
Requirements
  • Experience working for a volume housebuilder.
  • Strong understanding of complicated and latent defects.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong knowledge of the development and construction process.
  • Experience using defect tracking systems such as clixifix.
  • Friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
What We Offer
  • Up to £38k basic salary (dependent on experience).
  • Monday-Friday working hours.
  • Hybrid working hours with one day from home.
