Your responsibilities will include:

  • Making prompt credit decisions within defined credit limits and exercising your underwriting authority.
  • Providing well-rounded recommendations that balance risk management with business growth and customer needs.
  • Offering substantiated insights on transactions that exceed your personal credit underwriting authority.
  • Assisting in the daily management of credit processes and decision-making.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate lending decisions and equitable outcomes for clients.
  • Gathering and evaluating financial, risk, and market data.
  • Maintaining credit procedures to ensure the integrity and precision of information.

Expectations:

  • Possess strong numerical skills and a proactive attitude, with substantial experience in a credit underwriting capacity.
  • Have a minimum of 4 years of experience, preferably within a B2B context.
  • Demonstrate analytical capabilities with a proven track record of documenting findings and making informed recommendations.
  • Exhibit the confidence to uphold decisions and articulate them to those less versed in credit risk.
  • Show a capacity for critical thinking, considering the risk implications of existing policies and procedures.
  • Be willing to take calculated risks that yield positive outcomes.
