Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to join our team at Medical Solutions. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical care in the diagnosis and management of respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and ward rounds to deliver comprehensive patient management.
  • Provide immediate care for patients with acute respiratory conditions and contribute to emergency on-call services as required.
  • Participate in teaching and training of junior medical staff, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in or support research activities related to respiratory medicine.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • MBBS or equivalent, with full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a license to practice.
  • Completion of specialist training in Respiratory Medicine, evidenced by a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent.
  • Significant post-training experience in Respiratory Medicine, with a proven track record of managing complex cases and performing relevant procedures.
  • Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and procedural skills in respiratory medicine.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care with empathy and sensitivity.
