About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AV Production Specialist to join our team at Sysco Productions. As a key member of our production engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of technical quality in our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Production Engineering Tasks: Complete various engineering tasks as directed by the Production Engineering Manager, ensuring that all projects meet the required technical specifications.
  2. Technical Documentation: Produce technical specifications and documentation, including schematics, layout drawings, M&E datasheets, and other relevant documents to support Sysco projects.
  3. New Business Proposals: Assist with the technical evaluation of design solutions to support new business proposals.
  4. Client Meetings: Attend client design and project meetings as necessary to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  5. Project Delivery: Support the Project Delivery Team throughout the project delivery process, ensuring that all necessary information is provided to facilitate timely project completion.
  6. Quality Assurance: Monitor project delivery progress at key milestones to ensure that the production specification has been met, and provide feedback to the Production Engineering Team to drive continuous improvement.
  7. Engineering Support: Provide engineering support to the service department with any upgrade works, ensuring that all technical aspects are properly addressed.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with the Design department to share skills and knowledge, and provide assistance when required to ensure seamless project delivery.
Person Specification
  1. Education: Educated to degree level in an Engineering discipline.
  2. Industry Experience: A minimum of 1 year industry experience engineering bespoke audio visual systems.
  3. CAD Experience: Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience is essential.
  4. Market Knowledge: An up-to-date understanding of the AV marketplace, including products and trends.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  6. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.
  7. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects are necessary.
  8. IT Knowledge: A good understanding of IT and networks is required.
  9. Microsoft Office Skills: Good understanding of Microsoft Office, including advanced level Excel and Word.
