Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Commissioning Specialist to join our team at Sysco Productions. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will be responsible for planning and undertaking testing and commissioning of audio/visual systems to ensure their compliance with Production Engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute testing and commissioning of audio/visual systems, ensuring compliance with Production Engineering documentation.
  • Work under the supervision of the Project Manager, agreeing work schedules and approach, and keeping them informed of progress.
  • Ensure the Site Manager and/or Project Manager are kept informed of commissioning progress and any issues that may require their support or intervention.
  • Liaise with external media agencies to ensure media is delivered in agreed and appropriate formats for playback hardware.
  • Create and maintain final IP and Media Matrices for projects, enabling accurate O&M documentation.
  • Assist the Service Team in closing open fault cases on external client sites.
Person Specification
  • Strong experience in set-up, testing, fault finding, and installation of AV equipment.
  • Technical knowledge of AV systems, preferably gained within a similar industry.
  • Organized and flexible, with the ability to approach different tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experienced technical engineer with knowledge of networks and audio/visual systems.
  • Experience in configuring and installing AV audio systems, including expert knowledge of DAW, DSP, RME/Focus/Brehinger, Amplifier Configuration, Speaker/Room Configuration, and Plug-ins.
  • Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • CSCS/ECS card holder as a minimum.
  • Experienced in working to high standards and possessing strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and on own initiative.
  • Full UK driving license with no previous or current driving bans.
  • CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test.
  • CSCS card holder.
