Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

At Stericycle UK, we're committed to protecting what matters in a practical way. As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll play a critical role in delivering service excellence to our clients by safely and timely collecting, moving, and unloading healthcare waste from various customers on a designated route.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold a valid Class 2 License and Full Driver CPC with Digi Card, preferably linked to an ADR certificate - packages 6.1/ 6.2.
  • Work independently to facilitate the transportation/movement of large waste containers from various locations to Stericycle Incinerators, Treatment Plants, and Transfer Stations.
  • Follow, promote, and communicate safe working practices in line with all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Company procedures.
  • Act as a key point of contact with customers, completing all associated paperwork and relevant documentation via a hand-held terminal.
Working Schedule:
  • Morning Shift: 45 hours per week, 5 days over 7 days.
  • 3 working weekends out of 8.

Requirements:
  • 2 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Valid ADR certificate (preferred).
  • Valid Class 2 License.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible approach.
  • Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
  • Ability to undertake heavy lifting and physically demanding work.
