Job Description:

As a HGV Class 2 Driver at Stericycle UK, you will play a critical role in delivering service excellence to our clients by operating 24/7 and ensuring the safe and timely collection, movement, and unloading of healthcare waste from various customers on designated routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle to transport healthcare waste to Stericycle Incinerators, Treatment Plants, and Transfer Stations.
  • Work independently to facilitate the transportation and movement of large waste containers from various locations.
  • Follow and promote safe working practices in line with relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Company procedures.
  • Act as a key point of contact with customers, completing associated paperwork and relevant documentation via a hand-held terminal.
Requirements:
  • Relevant driving experience and Class 2 License.
  • Full Driver CPC and Digi Card, preferably linked to an ADR certificate - packages 6.1/ 6.2.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
  • Ability to undertake heavy lifting and physically demanding work.
