Our client, a leading global manufacturing organisation, is seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Flintshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the dependability of machinery and equipment on site by performing planned maintenance and repair tasks related to electrical and mechanical systems.
- Monitor equipment operation and collaborate with the plant engineering team to identify recurring issues.
- Develop maintenance schedules, critical spares, OEM, SLAs, and service visits with the plant engineer.
- Ensure legal compliance with the plant engineer.
- Carry out installation work, including modifying existing equipment and installing new equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety, quality, and environmental policies at all times.
- Communicate with the engineering team to ensure comprehensive shift handovers.
- Assist the team with implementing new machinery or upgrading existing machinery.
Requirements:
- HNC engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automated systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- At least 3 years' experience in an engineering role.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
