Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: Flintshire
Type: Permanent
Salary: £50,000 per annum + Bonus
Hours: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team in Flintshire. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned maintenance and repair tasks related to electrical and mechanical systems.
- Monitor the operation of equipment and collaborate with the plant engineering team to identify any recurring issues.
- Work with the plant engineer to develop maintenance schedules, critical spares, OEM, SLAs, and service visits.
- Ensure legal compliance and work with the plant engineer to implement necessary measures.
- Carry out installation work, including modifying existing equipment and installing new equipment.
- Ensure that health and safety, quality, and environmental policies are followed at all times.
- Communicate effectively within the engineering team to ensure comprehensive shift handovers.
- Assist the team with the implementation of new machinery or upgrades of existing machinery.
Requirements:
- HNC engineering or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automated systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- 3 years' experience within an engineering role.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
