Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation. As well as ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, Evolito specialises in high integrity, bespoke battery systems for the aerospace and defence markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, testing, assembly, tooling, and materials.
  • Supporting manufacturing demand by relieving bottlenecks and problem-solving production constraints; attending breakdowns and reacting efficiently to escalation from manufacturing teams.
  • Developing manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished-product and process capabilities; confirming manufacturing processes.
  • Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labour, and material costs; reviewing production schedules.
  • Provide manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Complete improvement and development projects by training and guiding other members of the team.

Requirements:

  • Previous proven experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding of design for assembly and manufacturing constraints for high-volume manufacture.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with an analytical approach to implementation.
  • A flexible approach to work with the desire to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • A degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Experience working within an automotive or aerospace Tier 1 environment.
  • Experience using leading Kaizen events and six sigma projects.
